Construction Crew
Resource center construction is under way: we are still working weekly to renovate the Lifeboat building that will become our new space for dinners, discussion, coffee breaks, study space, a place to meet friends, and for great resources all about the Christian life, faith, ethics, spiritual quest and so on. We can use all the help we can get; so please come on down:
Work Parties usually on Wed afternoons and all day Friday: we need everyone and anyone who can come for an hour or two to help hang drywall, cut holes for lights, and take off baseboard trim. Or just come and bring good cheer.
Wednesday afternoons 1-4pm
Friday 9:30-4:00
and we need more help!!No experience necessary!

April 2006 - Journey to Ocean Springs, Mississippi - Hurricane Katrina Cleanup Trip
Sixteen students, a campus pastor, two UM vans, a tub of tools, a box of food and 38 hours of open road to Oceans Springs, Mississippi; it was a long grind on a shoestring budget with the purpose of working on houses damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Our reasons for going were many; curiosity, wanting to help in a tangible way, get away from the dredges of school, experience something new, and maybe make a difference in someone's life. READ MORE
